2.Stranger on the Road to Emmaus: Norm Reynolds, Facilitator. Using Christ's example from Luke 24:27, this DBC based class will go through Scripture showing how it all points to Jesus. You will get a basic understanding of the whole story of the Bible through college level material that is accessible to a 10-year-old.

3.High Points of Acts, Doug Augustin, Facilitator. This short survey of Acts will go through certain topics and characters in the book of Acts. Starting with the end of Luke into the first two chapters of Acts, we will be looking at the development of Peter. We look at particular scriptures that start from his denial of Christ to his first sermon that he gives about the work of the Holy Spirit during Pentecost. The next topic will cover the Holy Spirit’s activity with regard to speaking in tongues, what is was and what it is not. Thirdly, we will look at the vision Peter was given about “kill and eat”. We will look at the impact that this repeated vision had on the gospel. Fourthly, we will look at Paul’s conversion and his ministry focus. That will carry into the fifth week where we continue to look at Paul’s three missionary journeys and the locations where he went. The sixth and final week will wrap up with studying how Paul was led by the Spirit and the many difficulties he faced during those journeys.

4.Creation Apologetics, Aaron Kelley, Facilitator. Have you ever struggled to defend your faith to non-believing friends? In this course, we will use various forms of science to look at how we can stand up to attacks on the Bible and the truth found therein. No matter what field of science we talk about (zoology, earth science, astronomy, etc.) it all points to the design of our Creator.

5.American Heritage Series, Part II: Kevin Rhodes, Facilitator. How should we as Christians view America’s history? This series, using information packed videos by Christian historian, David Barton, will explore that question. Americans used to be taught a Providential view of American history, but the religious core values of our past have been removed from most history books. Learn some of America’s forgotten history which you most likely have not heard about before. This section of the American Heritage Series explores the following topics: Is America a Christian nation?....the church, state, and the 1st amendment….the influence of the Bible in America…and how pastors shaped our independence. The class will include open participation and informative discussion.
